The Teacher Training Council accreditation is an international learning and development body. Underpinning all that we do is the principle of ‘Excellence via Competence’.

Recruiters offering the best opportunities with the most competitive packages are asking for TEFL/TESOL qualifications that are 120h in length.

Many employers will not accept certificates that are less than 120h.

We have never seen a single employer ask for more than 120hrs of TEFL/TESOL training. 

*This does not mean that it will take you 120h to complete the course, most people are able to finish the course in far less time than that.

As an accredited TEFL certificate it can be used in popular ESL teaching destinations around the world, including in Vietnam, China, Japan, Dubai, Spain and Korea. The certificate can also be used to teach online. 

Your certificate will display your name, date of completion, course details, accreditation details, and your unique certificate ID number – which can be used to verify the authenticity of your certificate.

TEFL and TESOL are both acronyms for teaching English to non-native English speakers. Both acronyms can be used to describe qualifications which certify you to teach English as a foreign language. To a large extent, “TEFL” and “TESOL” are used interchangeably.
